Women's Health
Most American women’s health issues are addressed by a group of men who decide on behalf of women what is best for them – typically a white male, who has never experienced a menstruation, never experienced menopause, never experienced domestic abuse, and never experienced child birth.

In addition, it is these same men who "legislate" research for women's health issues -- they have no desire to truly educate themselves on the unique issues we encounter as women. We so desparately need to get some quality women (this is NOT the adjective I would use for Colorado's Marilyn Musgraves) voted into office at all levels of our government to ensure that our issues are truly addressed.

There are some good websites available that address the issues of women’s health from women’s perspective – women of all colors, nationalities, and sexual orientations.

* National Women’s Health Network - A voice for women, a network for change
* National Women’s Health Resource Center
* Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
* Websites for Women’s Health
